English Proficiency Tests

When it comes to high school admissions in the US, the English test is one of the important steps for your admission to the school.

To increase your chances, it’s important to get the best possible results in your test, as each school has its own requirements for which test results are accepted. We will of course have a dialog about which test your dream school accepts so you know which of the two you should take.

Below are videos that explain everything you need to know about the types 2 English tests schools accept.

TOEFL IBT

TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a language test that assesses your reading, listening, speaking and writing skills in English. This test is particularly relevant for international students as it demonstrates their ability to communicate effectively in English, especially for academic purposes and general everyday situations. The TOEFL score is a crucial factor in demonstrating your English language skills to colleges in the US and helps ensure that you are well prepared for the academic and athletic challenges that come with being a student athlete.

The test is comprehensive with many parts and can be taken both in person and online. It takes about 3 hours and there are a number of rules to follow when taking the test. They are not shy about following the strict rules, so if you do not have complete control over what is allowed, it can quickly become expensive because you have to pay for a new test.
Therefore, familiarize yourself with the requirements and rules and practice well before your test so you can get it done with good results on the first try.

It’s important to read all the requirements for your test on their website before you take the test to avoid having to take it again. TOEFL iBT does not offer refunds for lack of preparation, booking errors or failure to bring the required documents. So it’s a good idea to spend the extra time preparing, as it can save you time and hassle.
